Rhipsalis is a distinctive trailing cactus known for its thin, cascading stems and easygoing nature, making it a favourite for hanging planters and shelf displays.

Unlike desert cacti, Rhipsalis has slender, branching stems that spill over the edges of pots in a soft, tangled cascade. The stems range from cylindrical to flattened, depending on the variety, and may develop tiny white flowers or berries under the right conditions. Its light, airy structure and non-spiky appearance give it a gentle, almost whimsical quality, well-suited to modern and minimalist interiors.

Rhipsalis prefers bright, indirect light but will tolerate lower light levels, making it highly adaptable indoors.
